From the moment lockdown was announced back in March we have been supporting Independent retail and hospitality businesses through a tailored business support programme in a number of coastal town centres.
Many retailers have been making the most of the skills gained from our support to sell online and through social media platforms supporting their bricks and mortar shops. This communication and the digital skills gained helping to contribute to a return on their investment in spring/summer stock.
Since the reopening of non-essential retail on the 15th June and subsequent opening up of other sectors including hairdressers and hospitality in July we have shifted our support to the safe reopening of town centres and high streets, supporting businesses and encouraging consumers to come back with effective signage and local communication through established marketing campaigns.

It’s been an incredibly busy few months but so rewarding, as through our work with local authorities we have supported many businesses enabling them to adapt, sell online and communicate with their customers effectively through social media while unable to reopen their businesses.
It is vital now more than ever before that businesses keep the innovative communication going through social media platforms and take advantage of local marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and reach a wider audience both locally and from new visitors to their high street.
